In November 4th, 2017, the National Undergraduate electronic design contest in Shanghai area (TI cup) Awards Conference was held in our school. More than 500 teachers and students from various colleges and universities in Shanghai participated in the conference. Kuang Dingbo, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, summarized the events.

Academician Kuang Dingbo telled the students in the scenethe development course of the competition and the development of electronic technology, and introduced the most advanced science and technology, and expect the students to stimulate the imagination and creativity through competition, to have the courage to challenge, constantly innovate, and make contribution to the development of science and technology China.

Sang Biao, higher education director of Shanghai City Board of education, expects through the competition, it can promote the construction of information and electronics course, focus on the construction of new science, cultivate the ability of college students’innovation, team spirit, theory and practice, and create conditions for outstanding talent, talent shows itself.

Lu Jiahua, Vice President, on behalf of the school,give a Welcome speech. He expressed his gratitude to the payment of the Organizing Committee of experts in the whole process of the competition, his congratulationto the winners, but also hoped that the students in the future, continue to play the ability and cleverness,and meet the challenges of the future with more high morale, and continuously made new achievements.

At the meeting, professor Xu Guozhi, Shanghai division expert group leader and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, presented a summary of this contest, and Professor Ying Zhifeng, deputy director of the Fudan University office,  read out the list of winners, and professor Fang zhijun, Dean of our University School of electrical and electronic engineering, introduced the relevant circumstances to host the event. Our school teacher Gao Feiand student Sun Hanwei, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, share experience and feeling of award-winning as the representatives of the award-winning teachers and students.

This year, a total of 339 teams from 23 colleges and universities in Shanghai participated in the competition. The number of students enrolled in the competition reached 1017 and finally submitted 299 pieces of work. Finally, the 26 teams have won the national first prize and two prize.
