On theafternoon of February 27, the Party Committee of the college held a meeting formiddle-level cadres and a discussion session for the members of the Professors'Committee in Room 7950 of the Modern Transportation Engineering Center. Themeeting was chaired by Fan Junhui, the Party Secretary of the college, and wasattended by the members of the college's Party Committee, party andadministrative leaders, members of the Professors' Committee, and allmiddle-level cadres.

SecretaryFan Junhui emphasized that the college should increase efforts to attracttalent, take proactive actions, and actively expand the channels and coveragefor talent recruitment. Dean Li Yuanyuan made arrangements and shared ideas ontalent recruitment and employment, alumni relations, project construction, fundutilization, space usage, laboratory management, donations, and other relatedtasks.

At the meeting, the college's leaders in charge provided guidance on various tasks,including the application for teaching projects, the new round of classadjustments, the establishment of make-up classes, adjustments to teachingteams, the application for national funding, the recruitment of high-endforeign experts, research funding, the construction of research teams, researchproject applications, student academic and psychological support, employment,and innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Membersof the Professors' Committee, as well as department and center directors anddeputy directors, had extensive discussions on topics such as Iclass teaching,graduate student training, research projects, the application for teaching andresearch projects, recruitment and employment, alumni relations, laboratorymanagement and usage, shared equipment, academic competitions, universitystudents' innovation and entrepreneurship project applications, courseselection, internship requirements for graduating students, and professionalstreamlining.
