On the afternoon of July 4, 2023, the college held the 2023 Teacher Teaching Competition and Teaching Competition on the 10th floor of the Modern Transportation Engineering Center. The college has invited Wang Pinling from Shanghai Lixin School of Accounting and Finance, as well as our school teachers Miao Xingwai, Wang Guozhong, and Zhang Yu as judges for the competition. A total of 8 teachers from the college participated in this competition. Fan Junhui, Secretary of the College Party Committee, Li Yuanyuan, Dean, department heads, teaching team leaders, and teacher representatives participated in this event, which was presided over by Vice Dean Wang Xiaojun.

At the beginning of the event, Dean Li Yuanyuan warmly welcomed the judges and teachers who participated in the event, emphasizing the importance of teacher teaching competitions in improving the quality of education and teaching, and enhancing the effectiveness of classroom teaching. She hoped that all participating teachers could showcase their abilities and talents, and wished everyone ideal results.

During the competition, participating teachers Teng Xudong, Chen Jue, Chen Shanshan, Yu Lei, Li Haibo, Li Yuyuan, Ding Tingting, and Huang Li each gave a 20 minute teaching presentation and gave brief teaching summaries and reflections, fully reflecting the teaching ability and personal style of our school's teachers. The attending judges also gave on-site feedback on the performance of each participating teacher and provided relevant improvement suggestions.

Subsequently, experts and on-site observation teachers conducted evaluations and scoring from several aspects, including teaching content, teaching organization, language teaching style, teaching characteristics, teaching reflection, and course ideological and political education. Among them, experts account for 60% of the scores, while on-site observation teachers account for 40%. After summarizing all the scores and sorting them, the competition ultimately produces first, second, and third prizes and other awards.

Through this activity, the participating teachers fully demonstrated excellent classroom teaching skills, laying a good foundation for participating in relevant teaching competitions in the next step, and also providing a good demonstration for the college teachers to gradually improve classroom teaching effectiveness.
