Abstract:

Artificial intelligence is one of the hot research topics in the field of control today. Professor Shi explained in a simple and easy-to-understand manner what artificial intelligence is, the branch research fields of artificial intelligence, and its application prospects in current industrial control. Subsequently, Professor Shi analyzed the application of artificial intelligence in open and complex network environments, and pointed out a series of difficult problems in the application process and corresponding solutions to expand everyone's innovative ideas for academic research and promote the combination of control and artificial intelligence. Professor Shi's lecture brought new inspiration to the research of teachers and students in the college. The participating teachers and graduate students actively asked questions and had academic exchanges and discussions with Professor Shi, which brought new research motivation to subsequent scientific research work.

Short Bio:

Peng Shi received the PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, Australia, the PhD degree in Mathematics from the University of South Australia, the Doctor of Science degree from the University of Glamorgan, UK, and the Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He is now a Professor at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and the Director of Advanced Unmanned Systems Laboratory, at the University of Adelaide, Australia.
